Most single Aussie garages run about 2.4 m to the ceiling and ~3.0 m wide between the door tracks — which is why width and ceiling are the usual pinch points for a simulator build, not length. Double garages and sheds are usually the sweet spot.
If your ceiling is under 2.7 m, you're not out. A KIT hitting into a net off mid-irons still gives you full Tour-level data on every shot — you just skip driver indoors and save the big stick for the range. That's the honest answer the US spec sheets don't give you.
